How to Recover your HACKED Instagram Account (Full Guide)
If you are trying to Recover your Hacked Instagram Account in 2020 & 2021, you need to access Instagram Support Form to fill out the NEW form and explain that your account was Hacked; but Instagram has changed everything today and below is how everything works step by step.

STEP 2: After you have Subscribed from Step 1, you will need to ACCESS The Form and Fill out using the Steps Below.

I got my own account @lions.royal hacked when I had 143,000 followers and I recovered it safely using the method described below.
After accessing the Form, You will need to fill out as follow:
This link opens the NEW form available to reach out to Instagram.
1. Input username
2. Input Original Email or phone ## Associated
3. Insert link to your Instagram Page: www.instagram.com/username (even if the username was changed). Example: www.instagram.com/lions.royal
4. On the question of : “Have you tried following the steps listed in the Help Center to get help through the Instagram app?” Select Yes.
5. Fill out the rest 6. On Additional Comments: Describe in detail what happened.
Here is the sample text I used in the Additional Comments Section: “Hi Instagram staff, I hope you’re well. I couldn’t recover my account using the phone number, email or username in the “Get Help Signing in” since all this information had been changed by the hackers. I still have access to the original email :xxxxxxxxxxx@gmail.com. I’m willing to follow the steps necessary to recover my account. Please help. “
How Much Time Should I wait to Have my Hacked Account Back?
IMPORTANT: Do not worry, with the pandemic it takes time. I did not hear from Instagram as well. But after 3 days I just went and tried to recover my account by going to Get Help signing in and input your original email and I realized that they recovered the account but DID NOT send me an email.
So keep filling the form and keep trying to recover yr account. Do not worry, you will recover it.
REMEMBER: Fill it out many times, and be patient.. Instagram will recover your account, but you will NOT receive an email. After the second day of filling out the form multiple times, just try to recover your account by going on Get Help Signing in.
Next, put in your original email OR phone number as shown below.
If Instagram has already recovered your account, when you click “Next”, you’ll realize that Instagram ask you to set a new password to protect your account recovered. But remember, THEY WILL PROBABLY NOT EMAIL YOU! It depends on the people.

What do I do After I recover my Hacked IG Account?
After you recover it, make sure to activate the Two-factor Authentication to increase security on your account by going on “Settings”.

If you are Outside the United States, it is Harder to reach Instagram support as they have changed the access to the support form.

Method: You need to be on a Desktop or Laptop
i. Install Earth VPN chrome extension for FREE: Click HERE to Install the Free Extension
ii. Change your Location to the United States as seen in the video.
iii. Click HERE to Access the Help Form to fill out.
Apparently, that link is available for the US people, so you need to be located in the US to have access.
What you need to NEED to do is to change your VPN on Google Chrome browser so that it looks like you are located in the US, and then the link to reach out to the support will work.
This link opens the NEW form available to reach out to Instagram. Fill out as follow:
1. Input username
2. Input Original Email or phone ## Associated
3. Insert link to your Instagram Page: www.instagram.com/username (even if the username was changed)
4. On the question of : “Have you tried following the steps listed in the Help Center to get help through the Instagram app?” Select Yes.
5. Fill out the rest
6. On Additional Comments: Describe in detail what happened.
Remember that the old way to recover a hacked Instagram account was:
1. On the login screen, tap Get help signing in (if you are Android) or Forgot Password? (if you are on iOS).
2. Enter your username, email address, or phone number and tap Next.
3. Tap Need more help? and follow the on-screen instructions.
As part of this process, you would have needed to send a photo of yourself holding a security code to verify your identity. But all of that has changed as Instagram will just take you to the useless Help Center when you are trying to recover your account.
However, if you apply the new steps I described above, you will safely recover your account for sure.
